Simon Taufel
Simon James Arthur Taufel, (born 21 January 1971 in St Leonards, New South Wales), is an Australian retired cricket umpire who was a member of the ICC Elite umpire panel. He won five consecutive ICC Umpire of the Year awards between 2004 and 2008, and was generally considered to be the best umpire in the world during this time.〔(Taufel is Umpire of Year again ) Cricinfo. == Playing career ==
Taufel played for Cammeray Cricket Club in the Northern Suburbs Cricket Association as a fast-medium bowler.
